Go from Bompton to Cyberspace in Episode 33 of Noisey on Beats 1

We'll be bringing you a collection of Noisey Bompton's best, and a live performance from Floating Points.

This weekend, we're bringing you the super packed 33rd installment of Noisey on Beats 1, including segments highlighting our upcoming show on VICELAND, and a very special live performance you won't want to miss. But before any of that gets under way, we'll be playing a smooth mix of eclectic jams sure to appease anyone's musical taste buds. It kicks off with the energetic punk of The So So Glos, switching into the atmospheric hip-hop of Dylan Tran. From there we'll be bringing you a world premiere of Chicago rapper Owen Bones featuring the combined talents of Kevin Abstract and Mitch Jenkins. We'll round out the mix with Nana Felix's brand of thoughtful indie, and the poppy, punk goodness of Milk Teeth.

For our first segment, we're going to dig deeper into our brand new show on VICELAND, [Noisey Bompton](http://NOISEY Bompton: Growing Up With Kendrick Lamar (Pt 1)). We'll be taking a dive into the music of the show with the help of executive producer Andy Capper and host Zach Goldblum. They'll both give their take on what creating the doc was like, and exactly what one can expect when it launches in full on the new channel. You'll be hearing the sounds of Bompton's stars, including Kendrick Lamar, Earl Swavey, LNDN DRGS, and Boogie.

In our other segment, we'll be throwing it over to our favorite electronic music curators at THUMP. They'll be showcasing the work of Floating Points, one of the world's most invigorating electronic artists going today. It'll be a very special presentation, because Floating Points will be providing a sure to be unforgettable live performance featuring an eleven member ensemble under the lead and direction of Floating Points himself.

Later in the day at 2 PM EST, THUMP Brazil will be taking over Beats 1 and will be bringing the newest edition of their Carnival series. It highlights the most exuberant and vibrant artists in the scene that Brazil has to offer, and will show you how to get in the spirit no matter where you are in the world.

It's going to be a packed weekend, so make sure you hang out with us right here on Saturday morning at 9 AM EST / 6 AM PST and again on Sunday night at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST for our Noisey broadcast, and 2 PM EST/ 11 AM PST Saturday, 9 AM EST/ 6 AM PST for THUMP's broadcast.
