My America is All About Hook-y Noise Rock and Razor Sharp Punk on "Bad Hosts"

Stream the new standalone single and look for the LP soon!

New York based My America are building on the teachings of some of the area greats of yesterday, springboarding off of Unsane to create their version of noise rock touched by hardcore. After a bit of time away, the trio has returned with a vengeance to record a new LP called Misses with the venerable Kevin Bernsten, looping in the also dope Brad Boatright to master the monster. Details on the LP are still super sketch, but in the meantime the band has released the standalone single "Bad Hosts" to get everyone's panties in a bunch in the meantime.

The band commented on the track thusly:

"Bad Hosts" is the last song we wrote and recorded. The album itself is so serious and intense, "Bad Hosts" is something we did for fun, to lighten the mood. We tracked the song live with Kevin. Although it's not part of the album, it is an essential part of our whole experience of making the album.

Stream it below and you can thank us later. NYC homies, catch them at Lucky 13 on May 13. Again, you're welcome.
