Movie Are Here to Save Indie Pop! Listen to Debut Single "Ads"

Three minutes and one second of joy.

Every so often at Noisey HQ we start having a discussion about indie music and how boring it is and how no one cares about bands with guitars anymore. INDIE MUSIC IS DYYYYINGG GUYS :( It makes me super sad because bands with guitars defined my teenage years. I didn't even know other genres existed.

Well meet Movie—a south London trio of 22-year-olds who prove all is not lost. "Ads" is their debut single: a sparky, three-minute bop of a song, all Bowie guitars and Blur-like melodic lilts, with a little bit of Clor's wonky weirdness. It's (completely ungoogleable) indie-pop perfection. Thanks boys!

"Ads" is out on Skelly Records on June 9.

Kim is still recovering from Coachella, but this is definitely helping. She's on Twitter - @theKTB
