PREMIERE: Watch Moon King's Video for "Roswell"

Directed by Grimes' brother Mac, this video is an endless joyride and the soundtrack sounds like freedom.

Just to listen to this song—sans any visuals—should inspire you to live dangerously and ride your bike down a steep hill, feet off the pedals, hands nowhere near the brakes. Yeah, exactly: Life on the edge. It's the sound of freedom—with hypnotic motorik synths and a wall of sound surge set to thrill. The vibe is very female-fronted Secret Machines.

Below is the premiere of the video for the Toronto duo Moon King's tune "Roswell," which first made its way online at the top of the year and is lifted from their debut album Secret Life (out now on Last Gang). Directed by Grimes' brother Mac Boucher the video features zero bicycles but does capture the song's giddy propulsion via an endless joyride.

"Roswell is all about constant motion—the song is meant to evoke the repetition and momentum of the freeway, and the video is an extension of that feeling," explains Daniel Woodhead, one half of Moon King. "There isn't a beginning or an end, it just goes on forever. We shot it with Mac while driving around Toronto late at night, to capture the atmosphere of the city we grew up in.”

Moon King will release a limited 300 copy run of their new three track EP Vida Eterna on 10.16.
