There are tons of music sites that are constantly pushing out track premieres for bands. These premieres get listened to, posted to Facebook, added to someones press list, and then forgotten about. It's pretty #bleak. But Stockton, CA's Monster Treasure is a group that we won't let you forget about. A few months ago, we premiered the band's ball busting track, "Over," and now they're back with a 13-track stream of their debut self-titled LP.Although Monster Treasure is just a three-piece, their sound reflects more—their debut record is a punky-girly fantasy from start to finish. It's the perfect montage music to a more badass version of Clueless; one in which Cher Horowitz steals shit from a mall wearing a denim jacket and gets a "WHATEVER" stick and poke on her thigh from Dionne. Every single song rips, mixing shoegaze and fuzz and straight-up garage rock. It will make you want to punch your ex in the face, which is never a bad thing, eh?Stream the LP below, and if you want to be a nerd about it, you should order a record since they were pressed on green translucent coke bottles and covered in glitter.
