Misun, a DC threesome churning out nostalgic-soaked electro-pop tunes, is a thoroughly sunny band. Their music is the kind that immediately and unfailingly makes you wish you were riding around town with your windows down and your sunglasses on, which you obviously can't do right now, especially if you live on the East Coast like they do. But that's exactly what makes them such a perfect choice for your headphones right now. Winter is sad; Misun's debut album, which dropped a few weeks ago, is not. Frontlady Misun Wojcik has a jangly, dreamy voice that sounds straight out of the '60s (even my dad says so), and she has a personal style—especially when it comes to performing—to match. With her platinum blonde hair in a retro pony and swinging mini skirts that bounce right along with her on stage, she's giving off major Nancy Sinatra vibes. "Driving for long periods of time (10+ hours) gets SUPER BORING. Our favorite time-killer is the Mad Libs app. We all have potty mouths when it comes to this game (who doesn't?!) and it's a solid way to keep things fun and light on the road."

We bring our drummer Jon's blue cooler with us every time we get out of town. Jon's an IPA kinda guy, but for pre-show drinking everyone can always agree on ice cold silver bullets.
