Miguel Gets Sad with Future and Chris Brown for the "Simple Things" Remix

Listen to Future talk about love in a way only Future could.

There's only a few months left in the year, and Miguel's Wildheart is the sleeper contender for R&B album of the year. With The Weeknd crossing over to pop and a full project from Frank Ocean or Jeremih nowhere in sight, Miguel has been riding unbothered on a purple cloud of sex since releasing the album earlier this year. To remind people that he's still very much in the conversation, Miguel recently released a remix to "Simple Things," which has Future returning to Honest content matter, expressing love in only a way Future can.

Future's verse starts off innocently enough, with him talking about wanting someone who will give him fellatio while allowing him to keep his fancy footwear on. But as it progresses the song becomes more sad than sexy, with Future ultimately deciding that the simple thing he wants is for someone to hold him down till he fades away. We all want the simple things: For Miguel it's someone who will smoke, lay, and laugh with him. For Future, it's someone who will see him through to his ultimate overdose.
