Atlanta produces yet another dynamic spitter.

One of the best things about Atlanta hip-hop these days is seemingly out of nowhere, a new crew can just pop up and you're just like, "Oh shit, I guess these are the new guys we're talking about now." Of course, these guys never actually come out of nowhere—it's through a combination of hustle, talent, and savvy networking that rappers put themselves in a position to blow up.

Meet Ketchup, who hails from the South Side of Atlanta—College Park, to be exact—and is down with a crew called BMB, which stands for Brilliant Minds Brothers. "Flood the Block" is his newest single, and it's one of the most extreme songs you can imagine. The beat, provided by the ever-reliable of TM-88 of 808 Mafia, has screeches that sound like an 18-wheeler coming to a full and complete stop and those little cool keyboard whirrs that make every time Ketchup shouts "FLOOOOOD the block!" sound like he's delivering a Shakespearean soliloquy on the nature of elasticity in the drug market.

"Flood the Block" is from BMB's upcoming compilation, which will aslo include Viking Life's "Check Me Out." The other members of the crew are Viking Life (a group consisting of Trigger, VL Derty, Psych, and Woe), Kush Pack, Type A, and Creole Ruby.
