Living Days Put on Their Game Face in the Video for "I'm Fine"

Chances are when you say "I'm fine," you're really not.

Nothing so chic as wearing a bitchin' fur under blue skies, strolling around suburban LA looking fly. Living Days' "I'm Fine" is a sliver of shimmery, Bowie-like electro-art-pop. The track, which is set to drop on Dave Sitek's Federal Prism imprint, lays all its cards on the table from the off: it's got insta-appeal—earwormily catchy and it doesn't outstay its welcome.

In terms of the visuals, well, the initial frames can be deceiving. Like when someone says, "I'm fine," chances are they're really not.

The NYC band had this to say about the video, which is premiering above: "Our singer Stephonik reimagined her life as a woman on another coast, a performer daydreaming of a sort of old Hollywood instead of old New York. Sometimes lost and sometimes lonely, trapped in incessant thoughts of past and future while still showing the world her game face."

Her game face huh? Practice yours in the mirror today.

Living Days play the Mercury Lounge on 12.10 and their album Dance Not Dead is out via Federal Prism Records now.
