Listen to Terry Malts' Crunching "I Was Not There"

San Francisco punks Terry Malts might be one of the few bands actually using the assigned term "punk" appropriately; rumor (and the band's press release) has it, the release of the band's debut album hinged upon a bet that Slumberland Records lost. The response to 34-minute, gut-crunching mind-melter, also known as Killing Time, was enough to get the band back in the studio to pump out their upcoming album, Nobody Realizes This is Nowhere, which drops on Slumberland (not via lost bet) September 10th.
