There's definitely a nostalgic patina which overlays this group's melodic bent. Eerie Wanda—the project of Croatian/Dutch singer Marina Tadic and her bandmates (including Nic Niggebrugge of neo-psych act Jacco Gardner)—take a sprinkle of Britpop's sugariest angles (like Lush's "Single Girl") and a guitar line that recalls Natalie Imbruglia's "Wishing I Was There," to create new single "To Dream Again."Premiering below, singer Marina explained, "The song is a daydream about running away with someone. A little mind-movie soundtrack." God knows we all need a little of that in January. Have a listen.
