Listen to Deers' New Track "Between Cans"

Everyone knows that love equals pain and love-pain equals great pop music. Enter Deers—two Spanish ladies by the names of Ana Garcia Perrote and Carlotta Cosials—who met thanks to some sucky ex-boyfriends and poured all their angst into song. Cheaper than therapy and more fun for all! Below is their latest track "Between Cans" (no word on whether this song could as easily be called "Between Boobs," which is a really nice position to be in, in any case). It's a bright-eyed, lo-fi, clattering ditty filled with clamorous vocal rounds. Very cutesy but don't-mess at the same time.

Since we last caught up with them Deers have swelled their ranks to include two more. Ana and Carlotta had this to say about their new additions: "When we where only two, we used to think we had a band but we didn't. We wrote some songs, we gave two gigs and both of them were… well, "acceptable." Ha! We weren't able to play the music we liked. Ade was our best friend and a really good guitar player so we beg her to be our bass player. We gave her her bass guitar as a present for her birthday so she had to say yes. We made it.

"We met Amber via internet. As a blind date. It was cool… she was blonde… you know. Hahah. Now we are four and everybody loves pasta."

Deers love pasta? Ugh. We're head over heels.
