As a rule, I read every email an artist sends me directly. There are hidden gems, hiding out in basements and tiny apartments, nesting in unidiscovered corners of the internet, creating music that deserves to be heard by the masses. The UK's Daktyl is one such artist. He shot me his remix of "Station" by Lapsley, taking the piano ballad into two-step-pop territory Craig David could be proud of.
