If Bennio Qwerty are not on your music radar right now, here's hoping they will be by the end of this post. This Brooklyn band consists of members of Wise Blood and North Highlands, and they apparently all met on a construction site. So far they have released this killer EP with a name-your-own-price option on Bandcamp (which means you can get it for free if you feel no shame in giving them zero dollars) and this other track that they premiered last month.
Today we are excited to bring you "Smooth Operator," another song off of their upcoming EP that will be out sometime this summer. With way too many influences to pinpoint, the band has an unique sound that is, dare I say, original. The band will be playing along with Iceage, A Place To Bury Strangers, and Lower on June 13th at the Hall of Williamsburg. So stop reading this useless text and click on the fascinating soundcloud widget below.
