You never know what you're in for when a Kylesa song comes up on your iPod. Sometimes you get shellshocked by some blistering metally hardcore. Other times you might get sent down a droney psych-rock black hole. On "Low Tide," the Savannah band takes you on a remarkably pleasant and mellow ride with a video to match. It kind of feels like one of those rides at Epcot Center where you travel through space and a phonograph and a burning house and a heart and some weird rocket and look, it's just all over the place, OK? It's probably better to just sit back and let Kylesa hold your hand through this weird trip and drift through the lands phonography rocket-shooting weirdness.
