Kristeen Young Is The Lovechild of Morrissey, Kate Bush, Dave Grohl, Tony Visconti and More on "Pearl of A Girl"

How many people do you know can count Dave Grohl and Tony Visconti as collaborators? Kristeen Young can, and her new LP The Knife Shift boasts both of those names and more. The LP, due on May 13th, is the culmination of time in the studio after being out on the road with none other than Morrissey, who hand-picked her as direct support no less. She'll go out with Moz again in May. Lucky.

So yeah, Young has some prettyyyyy big britches to fill. "Pearl of a Girl" is a pretty good indication of greatness, a fun and funky track featuring her unique voice that recalls a muscular Kate Bush, if that's a thing. Stream that below.
