Fall Into A Mire of Sludge and Doom With Kings Destroy's "W2"

It's time for more doom bands to bring back singing.

Masters of heavy stoner rock Kings Destroy are following up last year’s A Time of Hunting with a new self-titled album in May. The band is deeply rooted in New York aggressive music traditions, and it shows in this heavy-as-fuck release, their third in four years. Featuring members of Killing Time, Uppercut and The Begotten, the band is named after Cope2’s graffiti crew, the legendary artists from the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx (I’m not sure where the band stands on the debate of if Cope is a snitch or not though).

Kings Destroy have shared the stage with Pentagram, Winter, Saint Vitus, Yob and Corrosion of Conformity. This album is hard, melodic, and crystal clear. The vocals sound amazing. An impressive output from an all-star cast of New York doom metal. Check out the track “W2” below.
