OK, so I played this to someone and they were like, "This just sounds like the talky bits of All Saints" and I was all, "But All Saints were great, in fact I'm going to throw on my baggy cargo pants and get my hair highlighted RIGHT NOW". And Kilo is certainly reminiscent of the Saints' laid-back and lowkey style, like a Shaznay Lewis for the chillwave (or #creepwave according to her tumblr) generation, as she talks softly over this gentle Cronos produced beat.But WTF do you call her? She's definitely not a rapper, or a vocalist, maybe a melodic talker? I don't know, but I kinda like it.
