PREMIERE: Jordan Raf's "What You Want" Is What You Want

Take some floating music, add a beach and a massive fish, and you have Jordan Raf.

Jordan Raf is an LA-based singer and producer who is kind of one of those weird eccentric people you'll meet at a party who's shirtless and wearing a cowboy hat and even though you probably want to roll your eyes, conversation with him will charm you and you'll want to hear his music. Below, you can do just that because we're premeiring his song and video for "What You Want," which is basically him just fucking around at the beach in a very Cast Away setting over a floating song that sounds like painful sunshine.

We asked Jordan to give us a quote about the video. Instead, he penned this essay. It's below, unedited, and describes the video better than we ever could.

You all can have fun with your gargantuan budget music video with a vapid and listless narrative, but your man literally made the PG-13 version of "Ebony Eyes" (the best music video of all time) or a soft core porn parody of "Cast Away" starring a gender fluid russian prisoner.

Once again, my most brilliant friend Tucker Tripp delivers. He filmed and directed this just like "Asphalt." If your girl sees this video and you go to the club with her, and I'm there, she’s not coming back home with you im sorry my guy. even with the pseudo-masculinity thematics I bet bell hooks would even fly private to that island in the bahamas and drink coconut water in a sarong with your boy. We would smash that patriarchy together while the tropical sun sets over the horizon while you're taking a buzzfeed quiz.

most importantly RIP Aaliyah. This was filmed just miles away from where her precious life was taken too soon, as told by that rapping aardvark from cold upper fake America. Fuck off, Aubrey. Your eyes r too far apart.

Thank you. I know im beautiful we really does this l god bless you pray for me too please I'm serious i need it

yeah, the fish is fucking real. It was fully alive, in my hands.
