By all rights, JeromeLOL's new video for "Deleted," featuring Sara Z, should be annoying as all fuck—the entire action takes place in a series of Chrome windows unfolding on a MacBook screen, while singer Sara Z sings about an eroding relationship in terms of computer commands. When you say it out loud, you might start to cringe, honestly. But in the hands of JeromeLOL, it becomes a masterful exercise in perfecting mise en scene, trash culture sublimating freely with high art just how all those hippies who dropped acid in the 60s probably wanted. Seriously, you should watch the fuck out of this video, and when you're done, stream all of JeromeLOL's brand spankin' new EP Deleted/Fool on Bandcamp, and even buy it on iTunes if you feel so inclined.@drewmillard
