A lot of cynics might point out the fact that Kendrick's recent record To Pimp a Butterfly didn't feature members of his crew Black Hippy. Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City was sparse as well, outside of a Jay Rock appearence on "Money Trees" and a couple remixes. "Did they have beef?" some kid on the internet on an unnamed rap forum might ask. Well, probably not. Here's Jay Rock's new song "Easy Bake" off of his upcoming record, 90059, which features Kendrick Lamar. The song sounds dark and glitchy as both rappers work off each other, Jay Rock's verse being super confrontational and Kendrick staying in the background until they both hit hard at the same time.
