Ivadell is a band from Columbia, SC that play textural rock music shimmying between metal, and post-hardcore. Their debut LP, Maybe Tomorrow is full of the different depths and valleys found in the influences that trickle down, from Hum to Deftones. Their first single off the record, "Unknown Divide" plots the course of the rest of the record in its power. Production on the song evokes the discord and chaos found in the aforementioned bands, but doesn't give way to total imitation. Their singer's pitch and timbre cuts across the humming guitars and moments of ultra-heavy. The song ends in a cascade, hitting emotional turbulence in its apex bringing together all the different parts of the band into one. Both ends of the song mirror each other with a hint of chaos at the end.
