Iron & Wine Is Back with "Everyone's Summer of '95" Just in Time for Beard Season

Listen to the first single, "Everyone's Summer of '95," below – a muffled, wintery jam that will sing you to sleep.

Iron and Wine—a.k.a. Sam Beam—has just announced that he will be releasing a new series of archival Iron & Wine recordings starting with a new album, Archive Series, Volume No. 1, which is made up of 16 tracks that were recorded via cassette tape in his home in 2002. Listen to the first single, "Everyone's Summer of '95," below—a muffled, wintery jam that will sing you to sleep.

Additionally, Beam will be releasing a short film, Iron & Wine: Dreamers and Makers are My Favorite People. The film features unreleased and never-before-seen performances. We are issuing a BEARD WARNING for this trailer below. By the way, beard jokes plus a new Iron & Wine song? I thought this was 2015, note 2008! Ha ha ha! Anyway, watch it below.
