Holy Other - "Held" (Tim Hecker Remix)

Tim Hecker, the ambient experimental wizard king, has taken Holy Other’s lush, meditative "Held" under his wing and returned it all grown up and gleefully corrupted. Bassier tones and much deeper orchestral samples weave through "Held," cushioning and then almost swallowing the core yearning vocal samples' interplay. Their "come hither" whispers caught in this whirl of darker energy, and now, as you stare into its eyes, you can see it’s the siren call of someone who your mother would sternly warn you about. The gorgeous heart is still there, just a shade or five blacker.
