Look, there's only one thing you should be listening to in the summer. You gotta put away all your wintery black-metal, emo bullshit about falling leaves, and whatever the hell people listen to in the spring. It's time to switch it the hell up, and there's no better way to get in the right zone than with High Tides, the new center of your beach chill playlist. High Tides is a group shockingly from the midwest, that play a variety of fuzzy synthed-out electronic music that will put you at ease from everything. In "Costal Cruise '86," the group drops swirly synth leads that build upon one another, evolving the sound of the song into new forms and landscapes. It sounds exactly like what you'd be bumping in your jeep if you permenantly lived inside of Vice City or the timeless vision of 80s Miami. The song is a sonic representation of the warm waters of a beach in midsummer that everyone wants to float in, endlessly.
