We know chimney sweeps exist, like in Dickensian England, but it's still funny to us that Long Beach trio, Crystal Antlers, used to be in the business of cleansing smoke shafts for a day job. Like, why do people in Southern California even have fireplaces? It's unclear how good Crystal Antler's actually were at said job, but we do know they're really great at making scuzzed out, sometimes psych-leaning, indie rock.
For the video for new single "Rattlesnake" they roped in surf/skate/graffiti legend CR Stecyk III to direct. He also took care of the artwork for their forthcoming record, Nothing is Real (out on Innovative Leisure on October 14).
