Here's An Exclusive Joey Bada$$ Track, Plus Info About His First Official Brooklyn Performance On April 27By Noisey Staff
A few weeks back we met Joey Bada$$ and the Pro-Era Crew, a group of rising NYC rappers and producers that are in the process of destroying the five boroughs. We walked the halls of Joey’s high school and got the crew to freestyle and cypher in a local Chinese restaurant—you can check out the documentary right here.
Well, here’s the next move—on Friday, April 27, we’re throwing a big spotlight on Pro-Era at New York’s Knitting Factory, with performances from Joey, Capital Steez, CJ Fly, and the Prodies. The show marks Joey’s first official Brooklyn performance.
You can get more information about the show right here, and here’s the spot to pick up tickets. As if you needed more of a reason to head to historic Williamsburg next week, here’s an exclusive stream and download of Joey’s latest banger, “Catharsis.” Joey didn’t include the song on his upcoming solo project 1999, so he blessed the GoodTalk Vol. 10 comp with the track.
