I interviewed Daniel this week, and the file was almost immediately destroyed--damn modern recording devices. But we spoke a lot about Nashville, and what's going on over there. For those who don't know, Nashville has been blowing up in the last few years, well on the way to becoming the garage rock capital of the US. Daniel Pujol, and his amorphous band Pujol, is helping to lead the pack, along with JEFF The Brotherhood, Natural Child, Heavy Cream, and about a bajillion other rad bands.

Daniel's new record is a real doozy, a searing garage-punk powerhouse. Check it out below, and pick it up this Tuesday from Saddle Creek! Also, for all you kids coming to CMJ next week, Pujol is playing the Noisey showcase at Santos Party House on Wednesday. Come check it out!
