Stream Heems' First Single "Sometimes" from His Debut Album 'Eat, Pray, Thug'

He goes so hard you can practically hear his spit hit the microphone.

Das Racist co-founder Heems just dropped the first single from his upcoming debut record Eat, Pray, Thug (out March 10 via Megaforce) In a word, it's awesome. The track is called "Sometimes" and the onslaught of a beat—which was produced by our friend Gordon Voidwell—sounds like a bunch of rocks were tossed in a blender and then that blender was thrown against a wall. Lyrically, Heems goes so hard you can practically hear his spit hitting the microphone, and personally I imagine him defying gravity and running up the side of a wall at the club, doing a backflip, delivering a power bomb to some unsuspecting sap, and then following that with a moment of contemplation where he thinks about his life, his decisions, and what it all means. "Sometimes I'm pacifist / sometimes I pass the fist." Stream it below, and get ready for Eat, Pray, Thug, which was recorded in both Bombay, India and Brooklyn, New York. On top of Voidwell, the record features Dev Hynes, Rafiq Bhatia, and Harry Fraud.
