Happy Birthday, Gucci Mane!

Let's look back at all the fun times we've had together.

Here at Noisey, we don't just love Gucci Mane, we lurrrrve Gucci Mane. He's been one of our favorite rappers ever since the days when he was Atlanta's hot rookie riding "So Icy," through his classic mixtape era (every day we cry ice cream cone-shaped tears that Mr. Perfect never saw a proper release), to the start of his legal troubles and his gradual transition to the drunk uncle of pretty much every hot rapper in Atlanta. Gucci's had so many unforgettable verses and tapes that it would do a disservice to Big Guwop if we tried to list them all here, so instead, let's take a look at all of the fun times we've had with Gucci Mane.

Here's how Gucci Mane feeds the streets (and blogs!) from jail. And if you've ever wondered who designs Gucci's cover art, well, it's an 18-year-old kid named KD. To get some insight into Gucci's history, read part one and part two of our interview with Coach K, the Atlanta trap impresario. To top it all all, read the story of how our Canadian Editor Slava Pastuk once nearly convinced Gucci to let him ghostwrite his autobiography for 10 million dollars.

And, never forget that time he and Waka Flocka sent our very own Wilbert Cooper to the hospital. Whoops!
