PREMIERE: Listen to Grandparents' New Track, "Kids in the Alley"

You know that hard break-down toward the end of each bridge in every Tame Impala song? That's basically what this entire song sounds like.

If you live in Portland and really like guitars, you probably already know who six-piece garage-rock band Grandparents are. If you're unfamiliar, get educated because this attractive bunch have a big year ahead of them. Grandparents have been sprinkling releases here and there for a minute, but haven't officially released anything since their last EP titled Fumes three years ago. This year they will be gracing festivals like Treefort and SXSW in anticipation for their first full-length record release later in the year (name and release date TBD). We're premiering their new happy track "Kids in the Alley," which starts off with sing-song elements of a Flaming Lips song, and is quickly flipped into a groovy psych dream. You know that hard break-down toward the end of each bridge in every Tame Impala song? That's basically what this entire song sounds like. Listen below.
