Listen to a New Goddamn Song from Goddamnit, Goddamnit

Philly's most awesomely named band have an album out next month and it's some good melodic punk.

“Goddamnit” is, hands down, one of the top five most fun words to say in the English language, right behind “dildo” and “butthole.” It can often be found gracing the covers of Alkaline Trio albums and coming out of your dad’s mouth when he breaks the lawnmower. And now, a Philly band of that name has given us all a new opportunity to use America’s favorite swear word. For instance: “Yeah man, I heard that Goddamnit record waaaaay before anyone else did. Good gravelly melodic punk though, I dig it.” Or “I caught this band Goddamnit at [insert punk fest that you and all your dumb friends went to] and they were pretty rad.” Or of course: “I heard a new Goddamnit song called ‘How to Take the Burn’ at Noisey today because that is a terrific web publication and their writers are very attractive and boy I’d like to have sweaty, athletic sex with them.”
