Glitter Wasteland's "Don't Let it Go" Is the Perfect Dark-Pop Storm

It's about a bad case of love.

I could talk about how Glitter Wasteland, the moniker of Siri Jantey, has a name that precedes her sound—which is somewhere in between Charli XCX's infectious dark-pop and Lykke Li's brooding power vocals. Or, I could just present her earth-shattering video (cinematographically speaking) for her betwitching 80s-leaning alt-pop track "Don't Let It Go"—the perfect storm of huge drums, twinkling synths, a propeller beat, and ghostly background vocals—with minimal commentary and let you make up your own mind about her. Because it's just that good. So I'll do that and leave you with one of the best songs of the year for shaking off a bad case of love.
