Gentlemans Pistols Search for Rock'n'Roll Salvation on This Groovy New Jam

Get hot'n'heavy with these sweaty, swaggering hard rockers.

Leeds' own Gentleman's Pistols have been sweating and toiling in the name of rock'n'roll since way back in 2003, first releasing two sexed-up seven-inches before penning a self-titled debut and then 2011's At Her Majesty's Pleasure for Rise Above. Things have been quiet up North for a few years, but a recent signing to indie behemoths Nuclear Blast signals a sea change in their fortunes, and it seems that folk are finally sitting up to take proper notice of their upcoming third LP, Hustler's Row.

Their sound plumbs the best bits of hot'n'heavy, hairy-chested 70s hard rock, jamming away at blues licks and retro vibes like Phil Lynott never took that last hit. Notorious bell-bottom aficionado Bill Steer (of Carcass and Firewind acclaim) lays down a flurry of crackling leads again, joined by a rag-tag bunch of howlers and axe-slingers who swagger and strut with the knowledge that they've just wrapped up their best record yet.

Nuclear Blast will release Hustler's Row on October 16; for now, get down and dirty with opening track "The Searcher" below:
