Fyfe's "For You" Is Here to Dance with You and Break Your Heart

It's a beautiful summer day, so why don't you spend it inside crying?

Paul Dixon has the silky smooth crooner voice of a Jamie Cullum, and dabbles similarly in jazz influences—just listen for a huge saxophone solo toward the end of the song. But Dixon manages to pull together the classicist perspective with a more experimental palette of emerging electronic production, and his voice soars above it all. Noisey is happily premiering the video for "For You," a minimalistic, black and white affair that illustrates the desperation and freedom that comes with restrained love in our lives. The visuals were created by Feel Good Lost, a Cork-based creative agency who have worked with artists like Young Wonder, MMOTHS, and AlunaGeorge.

For those who weren't following Fyfe last year, he released a one-off single called "Solace" accompanied just by a photo of the back of a man's head and no other information. This mysterious song quickly gained a following, and eventually it came out that Fyfe was Paul Dixon, a British musician who formerly performed under David's Lyre but dropped that moniker after a botched label deal. He went on to share several other tracks and eventually release an EP that was also called Solace.

"For You" will be released as a single on July 21 through Believe Recordings.
