Watch Future's Macabre Crime Drama Video for "Blood on the Money"

It's so dark it'll make you wish the "I'm 'bout to open a meth lab" lyric on "Colossal" meant we were getting an entire 'Breaking Bad'-inspired spinoff show.

"Blood on the Money" is a fascinating Future song: It's one of the prettiest-sounding pieces of music he's ever made, and it's also one of the most unremittingly dark. The hook is literally "they got blood on the money and I still count it." And the song features one of the most iconic lyrics of DS2: "I know the devil is real / I know the devil is real."

So it makes sense that "Blood on the Money" would get one of Future's most cinematic and grimmest videos yet, with dramatic shots of a rainy funeral and some very, very dark behind the scenes murdering. If you've wondered what blood on the money might look like, here's your answer.

Yet while Future may have painted an elaborate film noir scenario for us here—one that makes you wish the "I'm 'bout to open a meth lab" lyric on "Colossal" meant we were getting an entire Breaking Bad-inspired spinoff show—there's always one piece of relief, which is that DJ Esco and Metro Boomin are the most likeable henchmen imaginable.
