Day One of Fun Fun Fun Fest Was a Clusterfuck Fuck Fuck

Hundreds and hundreds of fans waited for hours and hours on a seemingly endless line to get in.

As Atmosphere could be heard wrapping up their set just after 8 PM at day one of Fun Fun Fun Fest, a man wearing an Atmosphere shirt standing several hundred people deep on the line outside complained to the festival’s staff about having waited for over three hours to get in. It was just one complaint of many during yesterday’s admission clusterfuck. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of festival-goers stood on a line which stretched out of the festival’s entrance, wrapped around several blocks, crossed the bridge, and ended somewhere around Cesar Chavez. The operative word there was “stood,” as the line didn’t seem to move much all day, enraging many who traveled from all over to attend the fest, which is in its ninth year. Many killed time by voicing their displeasure on Twitter:

I met a guy, got engaged, had three kids, and contemplated divorce all while waiting in the #FFFfest will call line.

How nice to see @funfunfunfest retweeting the "happy moments" of day 1 and not the comments from us who waited 3+ hrs in line. #ffffest

It even prompted this parody account, a surefire sign of bad service:
