Fortebowie and Ducko McFli Give Rihanna's "BBHMM" a Funk-Laced Facelift

The duo trades in BBHMM's deathly trap for breezy funk.

Rihanna's massive overdue back pay anthem "Bitch Better Have My Money" was plenty brutal, between the casual callousness of the vocal, the lumbering dropkick of the production, and the torture-for-revenge scenario posited in the song's controversial video. Today it gets a rework that turns it on its ear as Nashville based "Draft Day" co-producer Ducko McFli and Atlanta singer/rapper/beatsmith ForteBowie swap out the industrial trap menace of Deputy, Travis Scott, Wondagurl & Kanye West's original production for a slab of upbeat WBLS cookout funk. Ducko and Forte's "BBHMM Coldcuts Remix" will make you wanna dance to the checks instead of flying the chopper with the turret gun. Stream the "BBHMM Coldcuts Remix" below as we await a full remix EP from the duo. Check more of Ducko McFli's work, including remixes of Father's "Wrist" and Key!'s "Give Em Hell" here, and get acquainted with ForteBowie's soul-drenched, summery Something Else About Bowie EP here.
