It's Monday, it's raining, everything kinda sucks, but at least you have the dying embers of the glory of the weekend to keep you warm, right? Not if you spent it indoors waiting for something cool to happen that never does. That's the plot of the new video for "Saturday Night Dead" from New York rapper F. Virtue. The clip, directed by Victoria Ng and starring trans model Maya Monès, Yera, and NYC model Charlotte S. McKee, tackles the crushing disappointment of a night in bed in the big city listening to fun being had everywhere else but where you are. The song, a collaboration with producer Rediculus, is the latest in a monthly track series F. Virtue pieced together with Paper Magazine and sometime Brown Bag AllStar J57's FiveSe7en Music imprint, and it anticipates the coming F. Virtue studio album The Things I'd Talk To Harry About, due out sometime next year. Watch "Saturday Night Dead" below and check out a recent interview with F. Virtue right here.
