Escape the Code Orange Beatdown for 90s Influenced Indie on the New Adventures LP 'Supersonic Home'

3/4 of the Code Orange personnel and none of the hardcore influence.

The thing about Pittsburgh hardcore band Code Orange that is different from virtually every other is that while most bands soften with age, Code Orange haven't. In fact, they've come up with another outlet for some of those emotions that have nothing to do with rage: Adventures. Adventures, featuring 3/4 of Code Orange Kids, explores the indie side of things with their new LP Supersonic Home. The effort hits via Run For Cover on February 17 and touches on everything from Superchunk to Belly to The Breeders and several stops in between. If you're a fan of Code Orange, you'll be surprised by it and eventually get reeled in by the melodies. But then again, same scenario if you've never heard of them.
