He's earned Drake's stamp of approval and an ocean of imitators. Now he's back with the premiere of one-off track "It Did Not Feel Right."

The art of R&B vocal manipulation has many disciples but only one master. Deadboy took 2010 by storm with his astonishing re-work of Drake's "Fireworks," earning respect from Drizzy himself as well as an ocean of imitators. He's stayed ahead of the pack with a series of sparkling releases on Numbers, and now he's back "It Did Not Feel Right," a one-off for the Bristol, UK-based Crazylegs imprint.

Carrying on in the beatless vein of his recent Saturnalia Editsfull of re-purposed grime vocals over ambient tone poems—the song's pitched-up heartbreaker vocals hover like hummingbirds over frosted plinks and harmonic synth-sweeps. Deadboy provides an answer to a question we've all been wondering: what would it feel like to fall in unrequited love with an immortal yoga guru?
