David Letterman Wants to Know if Those Are Your Drums

Or if they're rentals.

In what is either a puzzling instrument fetishistic quirk or the world's laziest foray in music journalism, David Letterman wants to know if those drums are yours or if they're rentals. No, he doesn't want to know where you got them. He doesn't want to know if he can borrow them. He doesn't want to know how much it costs to rent them per day and whether you recommend to pay extra for the insurance on them or if that's just a way that the rental company tries to squeeze even more money out of you. He just wants to know if they're yours, or if they're rentals.
