Don't Worry, You Aren't On Too Many Drugs, It's Just Creepoid's Video for "Yellow Wallpaper"

Chill. It's just a video. And you aren't going to have a panic attack.

Be careful though, Creepoid is a gateway drug, one that leads you deeper into the current growing noise rock scene. Their spacey lyricism meshes well with the darker parts of noise punk, and their newest single “Yellow Wallpaper” is cut with so many different genres but is still totally melodic and distinctly Creepoid.

“Yellow Wallpaper” at the verse is a little more edgy than just a few tokes of mellowed out THC. The bass line is heavy, reminiscent of The Breeders, while the wailing guitar will remind you of any 90’s shoegaze band. Singer Anna Troxell shines on the track, channeling a dazed and confused version of Broadcast. The track is catchy and the video is trippy, definitely what you’d expect from a band with a weed leaf on their kick drum. Check out the video above to get a little dose of Creepoid.
