Watch Crazy & the Brains' Totally Weird Tribute to Lindsay Lohan

Strangely, it is totally appropriate for a love song about her.

New York xylo-punks Crazy & the Brains released their debut album, Let Me Go, over a year ago and it is still finding new ways to be entertaining. Aside from the fact that it is a perfect go-to feel-good party album, the band keeps releasing fun weirdo videos for the songs, breathing new life into an already infectious record. They had a party with a case of Yoo-Hoo for “NYC.” There was a totally gross pizza-heavy animation for “Biggest in the World.” And now, the band has released a video for Let Me Go’s final single, “Lindsay Lohan,” possibly their weirdest yet (and yet, oddly appropriate for a love song about Lohan). There’s no point in trying to explain it, just watch it. Actually, watch it a few times, as there is a lot of stuff going on that you might miss in the first go around.

Crazy & the Brains have a new album called Good Lord coming out in mid-October [high fives nearest person] and will be releasing a music video for each song on it, plus a short film about the record and release shows in New York. So expect more weirdness to come.

In the meantime, they’ve got a couple of shows coming up:

September 10 at Muchmores, Brooklyn, NY

September 27 at Palisades, Brooklyn, NY

November 7 at Paper Box, Brooklyn, NY

November 14, Mercury Lounge, New York, NY
