John McSwain has pretty impeccable taste—he’s the guy who assembled our last Halloween mixtape and helped put together that photo shoot of the dudes with rock-hard erections—so when he emailed us to say he had directed a music video we watched it immediately. (Usually when people email us to blab about their music videos we delete them without watching, because we are jerks.) The song is “Running,” by Computer Magic, and the video is about a kid who gets abducted by aliens (it’s unclear whether or not they stick anything up his butt) and starts acting all weird and reclusive. We’re not going to tell you more than that because we don’t want to give away the ending, but we will say that it has a bunch of pretty strings in it, at least two pretty ladies, and the images manage to be trippy, funny, and kinda sweet all at once. Former VBS host Trace Crutchfield is in the video too. He’s the one who’s not the kid and not the mom.
