Soothe the Last of Your Hangover with Chiefs' Fuzzy Stoner Tones

Drift away into a land of sunshine with this SoCal stoner rock trio.

If, like many of us here in the Noiseyverse, you've graduated to the wonderfully depressing world of two-day hangovers, allow us to soothe your battered psyche with some supremely chill stoner vibes from the land of smoke and sunshine. This SoCal-via-Arizona fuzz rock outfit went home to Phoenix to record its upcoming new album, Tomorrow's Over, with Ryan Butler (Landmine Marathon); "Like A Match" is taken from those sessions, and lolls sleepily atop a pile of distortion pedels and Kyuss records. It's low, slow, desert rock that makes for a perfectly mellow soundtrack to your booze-battered brain's gently malevolent pulsating. Tune in, drop out—then take a nap.

Tomorrow's Over is out on CD and digital on 2/24 through Roosevelt Row Records,

Kim Kelly is drinking lots of Gatorade on Twitter.
