Celebrate The End Of The World With Dent May's New Single "2099" (Noisey Premiere)
By Noisey Staff

Dunno about you, but we're pretty tired of hearing people play that R.E.M. song because the world's supposed to be ending today. For one, the world was supposed to end at 6:11 this morning but it didn't, and then "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" has been played out since the world was supposed to end during Y2k. It's a new era, and we need a new perspective on the end of our pointless existence, and who better to give usthat perspective than Dent May? We're excited to premiere his newest track "2099," a super-optimistic track that looks at the end of the world (which didn't happen) as a new opportunity to spread love (which every day should be). Check his quote about the track, and stream it below.
Everybody's talking about the end of the world. A lot of people are pessimistic about the future of mankind. My take is that this is just the beginning for us, and there's a lot of love left to spread throughout the universe. "2099" goes out to my fellow dreamers who plan to stick around into the next millennium.
