Listen to a New Song from Candy Hearts and Count All the Ways People Let You Down

There are literally countless ways to let someone down (trust us). Here is a brief list of ways to do so…

Posting Game of Thrones spoilers on Facebook
Eating the last of the Totinos pizza rolls
Showing up drunk at their birthday party
Deleting all the Mad Men episodes off their DVRs
Hooking up with their sibling and then ghosting them
Taking them out to dinner and “forgetting” your wallet
Giving them crabs
Sneezing and then wiping it on their couch/dog when they’re not looking
Setting them up on a date with someone who is reeeeeally into CrossFit

There are infinitely more ways, unfortunately, and on Candy Hearts’ title track for their new album, All the Ways You Let Me Down, the New York band takes on the unenviable task of counting them. But at least their sugary blend of pop punk goes down a lot easier than a note written on toilet paper that says, “borrowed ur bike and forgot where i left it sorry!”
