Get a Full Blown Anxiety Attack Courtesy of Braidedveins' New Video

SST style punk from ex-members of the Swellers.

In case you don’t closely follow the ins and outs of the pop punk world, it may come as news to you that long-running Michigan band, the Swellers, recently called it a day. But if you’re ready to step up to big-boy punk*, check out braidedveins, which features members of the Swellers and a bunch of other bands like Empty Orchestra, Kid Brother Collective. They dropped an EP on us last year that we thought sounded a lot like Rites of Spring and Hüsker Dü, and all those SST bands of the 80s. Anyway, we bring it up because they just dropped a new video for their song, “Some Fundamental Questions on the Nature of Being” and we’re kind of getting anxiety just watching it. It’s all fast cuts and weird filters and shots of teeth and eyeballs and stuff. Basically, exactly the type of visuals that should accompany this type of fast-paced scuzzy punk. Check it out below and get ready for full blown anxiety.
