Bowie is Back! Watch "Where Are We Now?"

The Godfather of Glam celebrates his 66th birthday with a gift to us all.

David Bowie has effectively broken the Internet by casually dropping a new song today, on his 66th birthday, after a decade-long hiatus. Yeah, NO BIG DEAL.

"Where Are We Now?" is the first single off of Bowie's forthcoming long-awaited brand new album The Next Day, due out in March. Recorded (where else?) in New York, the surprise LP features 14 tracks that sees the Godfather of Glam hooking up with longtime collaborator Tony Visconti—he's the guy Bowie worked with on stuff like Space Oddity and Young Americans. So yeah, again, NO BIG DEAL.

The track itself is a gentle, melancholic ballad accompanied by a nice little lyric video, inspired by Bowie's "Berlin Trilogy" albums and directed by artist Tony Oursier. Watch below, and try not to hyperventilate.
